It's hard to believe this release has actually been produced by Martin Damm, the man behind countless unique-sounding projects such as Biochip C, Phase IV, Subsonic 808 and The Speedfreak to name only a few covering a wide range of styles including Acid, House, Ambient, Breakbeat and Hardcore. This release with its snarling and grinding acid bassline, on the contrary, shows many similarities with the sound of productions by Heckmann or Mike Ink's Strass and of course works well with these in a set. Personally I prefer listening to these tracks pitched down to -8 which adds to their drive and gives them a more hypnotic feel. Overall a decent work.
